Shipping policy
If you would like to ship wine, please call us at 707-931-8424 or email Linz at linz@snobbyowl.com about your interest. Club members receive special shipping rates (see the Club page for more info).
Once you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation, shipping notification, and tracking number. If you need to cancel your order, and do so prior to shipment, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel an order after the wine has shipped, you will be responsible for the shipping costs. Please contact linz@snobbyowl.com if you need to cancel your order.
The shipping carrier is determined by the shipping company based upon the shipping destination. When your wine order is picked up by the common carrier for delivery, responsibility for the wine becomes the responsibility of the purchaser.
Wine is a perishable product and does not like extreme temperatures. Wine Snob* is not responsible for, and will not replace, wine that is damaged by extreme weather conditions during shipment, so please be sure to check shipping destination weather conditions before placing your order and ensure that someone will be available to accept delivery of your shipment on the carrier’s first delivery attempt.
Your satisfaction with our products and service is our first priority. Although we cannot accept returns of wine ordered in error, we will replace or refund your cost for any bottle of wine purchased from us in the unlikely event that it is flawed. We may ask that you return the cork or the unfinished portion of the bottle. To arrange for a return of flawed wine, please contact linz@snobbyowl.com.
